Una Semana en La Habana

by Calum Baird

/

about

Following on from his previous single, Sundays In Berlin, Calum now guides listeners through observations inspired by time spent in Havana.

Based on a dream and set in the Cuban capital, Una Semana en La Habana immerses listeners in an experience of this old Cuban city. Complete with a Cuban Tres guitar solo, bongo drums and atmospheric street sounds, this short track asks questions about life, relationships and society as well as exploring what it is to be human in the world today.

The track is written in a classic singer-songwriter style and gives the impression of a traveller reflecting on their time in Havana, describing people, interactions and more of the city’s offerings encountered along the way.
